Suntrust is the branch of the company that specializes in gated communities and it already has quite an impressive list of developments within Metro Manila and in the surrounding provinces. Sta. Rosa Heights is the company’s latest endeavor and it seems to be its most ambitious as of yet.
Sta. Rosa Heights is designed to be a self-sustaining community, which means that everything that the residents will ever need is right inside the community gates already. The resort-like amenities contained inside the community will most likely make the residents not leave the confines of the gated compound at all.
Although technically, the Sta. Rosa Heights community is located in Silang, Cavite, it is actually nearer to Sta. Rosa than the Silang town proper. Also, the main gate is located along the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Highway, so the name really suits the place. Name aside, the Sta. Rosa Heights is probably the best option that you have now if you are planning to move into a new home. Even if you work in Metro Manila, it will still be a good idea to invest in a home in this community.
Speaking of homes, there are three different house models that you can choose from in Sta. Rosa Heights. First is the Sofia, a four-bedroom house with a total floor area of 115 square meters, built on a 132 square meter lot. Let’s first take a look at the outside of the Sofia model house. The lot surrounding the actual house leaves more than enough room for a lanai on the side of the house, a small garden up front, a car port big enough for one SUV, and a service area around the back.
Once you walk through the front door, you will see the living room area, which is large enough to fit a complete sofa set and a complete media center. Beside the living room is the dining area, which also has enough space for a dinner table for six persons. Near the dining area is the kitchen, which already comes with built-in tiled countertops, a breakfast nook, kitchen sink, and hanging kitchen cabinets. There are also provisions for a full-sized refrigerator and a gas range/oven.
On the other side of the ground floor, you will find the downstairs T&B, which comes completely tiled from floor to wall and has all the necessary furnishings. Besides the bathroom is the guest bedroom, which is big enough for a twin-size bedframe and a modest wardrobe.
On the second floor, you will find two more bedrooms, which is roughly the same size as the one on the first floor, and the much larger Master’s bedroom. You will also find the second floor bathroom and an open space that you can use as a family room or den.
Now, if your family needs a bit more room, you need to check out the Jasmin model house. This house has a total floor area of 116 square meters, which is more or less similar to the Sofia house but it has a larger lot, which measures 154 square meters. The interior of the Jasmin is almost identical to the Sofia. Both have four bedrooms but instead of just two bathrooms, there are three - one on the first floor, another shared bathroom on the second, and the third one is accessible through the Master’s bedroom.
In addition, since the lot size is much bigger, instead of just one lanai area, there are two at both sides of the house. The carport is also much bigger in the Jasmin. It can accommodate two mid-size cars now instead of just one. Above the carport is an open-air terrace, which is accessible from the second floor of the house.
If, on the other hand, you still need more space and opulence, you need to check the high-end Elyza model house. This model unit has a total floor area of 201 square meters and a total lot area of 214 square meters. This model house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a spacious family room on the second floor. The Elyza is quite similar to the Jasmin but it has more floor space, wider rooms, a completely tiled carport that can fit two cars, and more outdoor spaces for gardens and landscaping.

First, there’s the leisure area of the Sta. Rosa Heights community. This is a complex composed of several structures providing different leisure activities.
